Newborn photography is an art that takes a lot of time, practice and patience. It involves carefully posing baby, transitioning slowly, correct angles and soft light. My hope is that these gorgeous portraits will be cherished for generations.
Newborns are best photographed under 2 weeks old to guarantee those sleepy, curled-up poses. So it is best to book before baby arrives to guarantee availability. I am happy to photograph older babies too - we will get gorgeous portraits of your baby, however baby may not sleep or pose as a younger baby will.
I offer a range of packages so that you can choose something that will suit you and your budget. All my packages include my time, prints and digitals - so there is no upselling or additional extra costs after your photoshoot.
When you arrive I'll welcome you into my specialised studio in Maungatapere, Whangarei. Then just sit back and relax. You will have plenty of time to look around my studio at my extensive collection of blankets/ backgrounds, wraps, outfits, hats, headbands, teddies, fluffs, furs, flowers and props - you can pick out your favourites to include in your session. Then watch me work my magic!
