What photography sessions do you offer?

I specialise in maternity & babies. So I offer maternity, newborn, baby milestone & cake smash sessions. I also do family portraits.

Booking a month in advance usually guarantees my availability. However I can often fit in bookings at shorter notice.

Yes! It is essential to know how to safely pose newborns without putting undue stress on their soft ligaments.
I am a midwife and neonatal care nurse.
I have trained in newborn posing & safety with multi-award winning Australian newborn photographers Lana Bell and Kelly Brown.

Ideally under 3 weeks old - they are sleepier, more flexible, happy to be naked and don't have hormone spots yet. I am happy to photograph a baby of any age, but baby may be awake for a lot of the session and may not go in to some of the poses.

Let me know your due date and which package you would like. I will pencil you in my diary, which guarantees you availability for when baby is born.
Let me know within a couple of days of baby arriving and we will schedule your session to suit then.

No, I currently do not require a deposit.
But I ask clients to let me know asap if they decide not to go ahead, so I can offer the spot to someone else.
Cake Smash - $100 non-refundable deposit is required to order the cake.

My sessions are all inclusive - it includes my time & talent, use of my client wardrobe/ props/ wraps/ accessories, digitals and prints.
You choose your package depending on session type & number of images.
You pay the price of the package you selected, there is no up-selling/ extra costs after the shoot.

Milestone, Cake Smash & Newborn Natural Collection are all styled in white/ light cream.
Newborn Art sessions - you select your preferred colours/ props before the session. I will do a basic setup before you arrive. There is plenty of time during the session for you to look around the studio and select your favourite pieces to add in or change to individualize your photoshoot.
Maternity - at the start of your session we discuss colours/ style and we go through my maternity wardrobe.

I can supply everything for your session - including newborn nappies, spit cloths and wraps.
Bring extra bottles/ breastfeeding pillow, pacifier (only if you use one) and food for yourselves. The Office Cafe has great food & coffee - and only 700m away!
If you have a favourite snuggle teddy or heirloom shawl I love including these in newborn sessions.
Maternity - any clothing that you would like to wear, otherwise you have full access to my maternity wardrobe
Milestone/ cake smash - I have a lovely range of outfits from 6 to 18 mths, and natural wooden toys.

Once you are booked in I will email you my Session Prep Guide. This includes plenty of suggestions and ideas of what to wear.
Women are welcome to look through my maternity wardrobe.
Milestone/ Cake Smash - I have a lovely selection of baby outfits from 6 to 18 month size.
Newborns - if you prefer baby dressed I have a large range of beautifully knitted outfits.

I do not charge an additional fee to reschedule, but please be considerate.
Studio sessions - I prefer to reschedule if anyone is unwell. Plenty of notice is appreciated.
Outdoor sessions - our weather is crazy hard to predict. I will reschedule for rain but not usually for wind. We keep in touch closer to the day & make the decision together.
Rescheduling will be dependent on my diary availability.
